im helping my 10 year old brother in his homework but i dotn know what the heck this quote mean lol....
so i just told him that..it represents laziness i think...because you can just get the fruit..but you wait for the tree to drop it for you?

two things
1. dont wait for something till its too late and it gets "old" and "mushy". do something when its needs to be done. take opportunities dont let them pass away.
2. things arent just handed to you, you have to go up there and get them. if you wait for it to be handed then...going back to one... it will be useless
