My friend joined the army reserves and he was telling me how they looked for a hernia on him. He said they put two fingers on his pubic area and asked him to twist a little to each side and cough. Then they asked him to bend over and spread his buttchecks.

Do they really ask him to do that and is that really how they check for a hernia?

Sorry if I spelled hernia wrong.

And what are they checking for when they look at your butt crack?

Is my friend a crazy lier and I'm kinda gulable? Lol. Seems kinda crazy to me.

You spread your cheeks so they can check out your prostate.

I've heard that you can do a hernia test like that, but I've only ever had the old-fashioned test.
