Yes. A lot of the Military Services cross train at the other Services Schools, and you could have more than one branch of the Military in the school at the same time.
I was stationed with the Marine Detachment at Ft Leavenworth and we had Air Force, Army and Marines all working together at the USDB. That is only one example. There are Marines on all Naval Bases and large ships in the Navy. It is very common to have sister services stationed at the other services Bases, Forts ,Camps and Stations.
Every US Marine Company has a Naval Corpsman attached to it as the in the field "medic" known as "Corpsman" or "Docs" because the Marines do not have Dr's, Nurse or Dentist. This is just a couple of examples

yes. they are less likely to get stationed on an army base though, the missions are too similar. But you will find marines on air force bases and even more on naval bases. My brother spent 8 years in the Marines and was never stationed on a marine base.

It depend because in Japan there are Marines on the Navy base, mainly because the marines are a branch of the navy. I don't think you will find any marines on a Army base. Not all Navy bases have the room for other service members. My husband an I are stationed in Guam. I know there are a bunch of Marines coming on the Navy base.

Please, the show you attended was just propaganda designed to trick people like yourself into joining the military. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind if people join, I just want them to join for honest reasons. The purpose of the military, all of it, is to kill and maim, hopefully for a good cause. That's what they do. Some people in the military get to do something else, but that is only in support of the killers and maimers. It’s a cruel world out there and other countries and groups have designated killers and maimers too, and some of them want to kill and maim us. So I’m all for having well trained and equipped group of killers and maimers on my side. Enough babble though. The military does offer great educational and career programs. If I were you I would consider, in order, joining the Air Force, Navy, Coast Guard or Army. I’d put the Coast Guard at the top but they’re pretty lean and mean and mostly actually do something involving their mission. The Air Force and Navy have big support networks that do the kind of thing that interests you, and they don’t generally get shot at. The Army has plenty of support programs but they get shot at a lot. Finally, if you do nothing else, avoid the Marines. Everybody in the Marines is a candidate to be shot at. And when we aren’t at war, they make up for it by shooting at one another.

Sometimes in special jobs or posts, Marines and Sailors can get stationed with a detachment on board non-Marine bases but these jobs are few and far between.

There is a broad band of inter-service cooperation. When I was in tanker training at Ft. Knox, the barracks next to ours was for Marines. Poor SOB's! We thought we got dogged hard. At chow time they had to do a certain amount of pull ups before they could go in the chow hall.
