I don't think that the theme parks are the problem here, I think they should have a plan put in place where they don't just have trash cans around but they should have the sorted recycle bins for the glass, plastic, and paper. And when you buy your tickets to go into the parks it says you must agree to sort your waste into the correct bin.
I think that coal burning facilities should be shut down and they should convert to a more Eco-friendly means of accomplishing what they need. I also think that the eco-friendly car prices should be lowered in order for them to become more accessible to the modern day man that can't afford to own something such as this vehicle that's taking such a step forward in the "Go Green" craze that's happening.
I think that there are tons of thongs that need to change, America should make leaps and bounds towards getting away from being oil/gas dependent. But I don't think that America's theme parks should be a target of discussion here because there are things that are higher up on the scale needing to be put into the discussion.

For decades, environmentalism has been the Left's best excuse for increasing government control over our actions in ways both large and small. It's for Mother Earth! It's for the children! It's for the whales! But until now, the doomsday-scenario environmental scares they've trumped up haven't been large enough to give the sinister prize they want most of all: total control of American politics, economic activity, and even individual behavior. With global warming, however, greenhouse gasbags can argue that auto emissions in Ohio threaten people in Paris, and that only global government can tackle such problems. National sovereignty? Democracy? Forget it: global warming has now brought the Left closer to global government, statism, and the eradication of individual rights than it has ever been before.

Actually, theme parks might help.
This is a little convoluted, but my reasoning goes like this:
- Theme parks use relatively little fossil fuel; most of their energy is consumed as electricity. A theme park could be run by non-carbon energy supplies without changing a thing at the park itself.
- Theme parks are in fixed locations and have dedicated roads, parking lots, etc. to get people in and out. If the park was served by electric commuter trains, people wouldn't need to emit any carbon to get to and from the park either.
- People at a theme park are not driving in a motor home or running around in a speedboat burning 10 gallons an hour, so there is a displacement of carbon-emitting activities by potentially non-carbon-emitting activities.
If you want to cut global warming, the parks to shut down are the RV parks.

Only way to stop global warming & global cooling is to literally destroy the entire planet. Short of this the planet will continue to cool & warm for eternity regardless of what man does.
In the interim, it would be great if CNN, CBS, NBC, ABC, The L.A. Times & New York Times shut down & stopped using electicity, paper and other resources. I think "BIG MEDIA" is the problem.

Economically, to halt global warming correctly at this stage of the game is impossible. Just do your part as an individual to contribute to the cause to make you feel better, and enjoy the beauty of the earth in your lifetime.

Hey that would put me out of work!(I put in an aveg 15 hours in for one concert from start to finish -I do at least two per weekend)!
Plus at it high point Six Flags Great Adventure is the state's biggest employer.
We don't pollute that much unless you count the aveg last season of 10,000(per day) people breathing and doing other bodily functions.

No because theme parks don't have anything to do with GW. Cars and factories do because they give off a lot of pollution
