A bricklayer? I would say you could find work in construction. What sort of education do you have? Any other experience? It all depends on where in the U.S you go. You can find work easily in any major city. I am from Cali and love it, but it's expensive. I now live in AZ and it's nice, too, but very hot during the summer.

I live in a predominately Irish immigrant neighborhood in NYC. You probably could get bricklayer work here too, most that live here are employed in many such capacities and I am sure you could find someone in one of these neighborhoods that could help you get a job.

There are many places you can go in America, from Argentina to Greenland. I would advice you Greenland that is closer to Ireland. You can build many ice castles there!
Good luck!

Yes I am an American....
You need to touch base with Irish groups who help the newcomers and illegals. They can be found in SF Bay area,
Boston, NYC and many other big cities.

Will you come here illegally? Then you won't be welcomed here.
It's funny how people here open their arms to immigrants from Irleland and Europe without wanting to know first if THEY will come here legally.
