What would happen if you talked to him to learn what he likes about her?

You and he are friends, so there is some common ground.

Is he not your friend?
Is able to handel himself?
If he gets a broken heart, can he mannage it?

Do you think you should get to know her first before taking any action?

Finally, if the shoe was on the other foot, what would want him to do?

All of the answers are in you; the questions just help bring them out.

You could try talking to him, but that will probably cause a fight between you and your friend. Try to be there for your friend, even if it is hard. Maybe he will realize she is not the right girl for him. Or if they stick it out, you may come out with a new friend.

Well, be nice to her. It is better to be on her good side in case anything IS wrong... you will be able to see it. He is your friend and needs you to support his choices and let him make mistakes. Be very sure that she is not right for him before you put it out there. Guys (even our best friends) can be stubborn...

Tolerate her. In fact, go out of your way to be nice to her. You may end up being best of friends.

Well, their relationship doesn't have much to do with you, so what I recommend is that you tell your friend this, so he won't forget about you. Like, he will still hang out with you.

That is not your decision. Be a good friend and stand by him. If you are right, it won't last.

keep your opinion to yourself, you might upset or offend him if you tell him. Its not up to you to like her, its up to him. be supportive of him and the relationship. no matter what your opinion is, thats what a true friend does
