Why is so hard to find a decent Jewish guy in NY in regards to a serious relationship?

I am 21 yr old , go to school and work part time. I am usually told that I am pretty intelligent and pretty , however when it comes to meeting the right jewish guy I have a pretty big dillema including my friends. Being a traditional jewish girl is hard and meeting the right jewish guy is far imposible than i thought. If you have any recommendations as to where could possibly be the best bet of finding a decent Jewish guy. Thanx

Oh isn't that the question of the lifetime...
You're only 21!
But I'll tell you what I did- I gave up and decided to be happy single and in my own life, whether for a year or for life.
I had people throwing sons, grandsons, any one they could find- at me because the idea that I was happily single was, of course, horrible to all the older women- I felt like a meat market display for a while there! I would receive phone calls from men I'd never met, they having gotten my number from a mother grandmother aunt etc...but I had really become sort of content in being alone.
Then I met the one person who REALLY sparked my interest, and shortly thereafter found out that I was willing to (gasp) give up my independent lifestyle to make a life with him. That's how I knew he was the right fit for me, and I really do believe that if I had floated into it looking for a relationship, I wouldn't recognize that and it wouldn't be what it is.
Stop looking and just further your self development and experience for a little while, he'll show up. And when he does, you'll be a better person for him.
