I want to order some but I would love to know if they really work. They are advertised on TV.

I think you're talking about the Evert Fresh Bags- by Debbie Meyers. I have used them before. They do keep fruits and veggies fresher in the fridge. However, not the length of time that the infomercials say. It seemed like the fruit/veggies stayed fresher about a week longer than regular bags. I did wash mine, but I only reused them a couple of times. I would probably buy them again if they were cheaper.

I wish I could help but you know when I watch that TV and see the fruit and vegetable after 3 days and see what a sorry mess they are I suppose these green bags must keep them longer.

Tell the truth, if my fruit & vegetables were in that sorry state after a week I would be concerned. Perhaps I have an unusual refrigerator but my produce keeps for quite a long time. I live alone and I'm surely not as young as I used to be but when my carrots or celery or parsley get a bit limp I chop them up and freeze them for my soups & stews.

They look intriguing, and off-gassing does cause fruits and veggies to ripen/ruin sooner.

However, I'm just worried that whatever they're impregnated with that hustles out the gas will be washed away when I wash the bags. Will keep watching this Q.

I hope someone lets us know how they work for them. It will save me money! I live alone and buy too much food that has to be thrown out from spoiling.
