Only 9? My 7 yr old has friggin 13 or so on his bed. Danged dinosaurs and snakes havin a stoopid battle or something. An you can punch the H out of those critters, and he would be right along with you. Like I said, they're battling.
Ur kid will toughen up. only buy him baddazz critters. And make up tough stories about the pinkie pie ones he has.

My almost 7 year old sleeps with 3 stuffed animals. He had no feelings for any of his stuffed animals until he was at least 5.
You're mean to tease him about it and punch/throw his animals.

Oh my! that's only undesirable! confident, if the baby is afraid after a foul dream or some thing else is frightening him, that's okay to sleep with mom and pa. yet snoozing with mom and pa on a huge-unfold foundation is irrelevant. somewhat considering his mom truly does not seem to think of that's irrelevant for her to be nude interior an identical mattress along with her son and having intercourse too. no longer only is it irrelevant, that's bordering on abuse. confident, it feels like this baby has a warped experience of privateness. he's already exhibiting irrelevant habit in front of others. My concern is that he will grow to be a sexual criminal at worst. while you're in any place to declare some thing, please accomplish that for the sake of this baby. His dad and mom needless to say isn't looking out for his superb activity. superb desires!

Sounds to me like you and you bf are the ones with the problem.
quit tormenting the kid. He's only 7 and all children love stuffed toys.
If he ends up a "plushie???" it'll be because of the way your treating him.

Cool it Mom,
Perfectly normal. You cuddled him when he was a baby
He likes the feeling of hugging. It is not a big thing at 7.
He will grow out of it. If you keep "hurting" his animals it will take longer because your just being mean.
If he is still doing this at 17 then you can ask the question!!!

Oh, I think that's so fine! My daughter used to sleep with the bunny from Good Night Moon for a long time. Even took it on sleepovers! She's 14 now and while she doesn't sleep with it - the bunny is still in her room. She says it gives her happy memories. So - in essence - she gave up sleeping with it all by herself.

I have 4 children and their stuffed animals are their prized possessions. You can do anything to any of their other toys but don't mess with their stuffed animals. It's completely normal and it's fine - there is nothing wrong with it. (One of my children is a boy and he loves his animals just as much as the girls.)

i have a 7 yr. old son and he sleeps with like 20 different stuffed animals, and i never once second guessed this kind of behavior. he is just showing his feelings.you and your boy-friend should be ashamed of yourselves for hitting and throwing around his animals, you are hurting your sons feelings acting in that manner, how dare you,you need to let him alone,he will grow out of this in his own time and you and your boyfriend need to learn how to show some respect for his things, you wouldn't like it if your son came in your room and punched and threw your things around would you,no i don't think so,you should treat your son and his belongings the way you would want him to treat you and your things.and just to let you know that i also have a 4 yr. old son and he sleeps with like 20 stuffed animals every night to and trust me they all have names my 7 yr. old names his to and i know all their names and they love that i play along with my boys, maybe you should to.......

This doesn't sound like all that big a deal to me, I mean come on, the kid's just 7. No worries, he'll grow out of it.
