Why do we call Islam a threat? Why do all terrorists HAVE TO BE Muslims?!?

Are Muslims the real issue here? Or do we face a much larger problem, disguised by blasphemous tongues?

So you have met these alleged terrorists? The CIA destroyed tapes from the interogations, why?

Excuse me, why is the world being brain-washed into thinking Islamic extremists are always the culprits? This is the way the American mass media presents the issue.

Well there are a lot of Muslim terrorists, but they aren't all terrorists, nor are all terrorists Muslim. For example the IRA or those people who bomb abortion clinics.

I think our government likes to tell us an overly simplified story so we won't ask questions and will just follow along.

You raise an interesting question. I think that the larger problem is with "blasphemous toungues."

What is going on here is, very simply, there are a few terrorist organizations maybe 3, that happen to center their doctrine in Islam. What is blasphemous about what these organizations are doing is that they claim to be the divine enforcers of the Islamic Doctrine. Further, they justify their own desires and murderous acts by claiming that GOD has sanctioned their actions. Other religions have faced this problem, but the difference is that the countries where these terrorist organizations have formed are politically unstable, thus, there is no legislation in place that would prevent exploiting Islam for political gain.

I don't know why all terrorists these days have to be Muslim. Ask them yourself.

It used to be Christians for 2000 years who were the terrorists all over the world, murdering people, torturing them, forcing them to convert, forcing them to forsake their natural cultures and conform to Christianity or die.

It seems that the Muslims are now coming to take over that job from the Christians.

Muslims aren't the real issue. The issue is that a lot of people assume all terrorists are Muslim because they have seen that some are. It's become a stereotype, and there's really no way to change it.

Because not all Muslims are terrorists, but nearly all terrorists in the present day are Muslims. Oh yes, I see that some liberal below thought about Tim McVeigh from a bygone era.

Because they conduct themselves that way. Even those you would least expect like the Muslim Doctors working in our hospitals have been caught involved in terrorism. These people want Islam running things and that is all there is to it. Americans had better wake up or you are going to be in the same boat as the European Countries have now found themselves in.

news happens to be on Muslims and that is the new trend in
21st century.....In the past we had Japs, IRA, Sikhs and what

People have forgotten what our forefathers had written about
the constitution by keeping the Church and State separate.

Islam isn't a threat. To say that you know nothing of the religion. Extremism is the threat. And... not all terrorists are Muslims. Not all Muslims are terrorists.

You might want to educate yourself more before asking such questions. They only make you look ignorant...
