Was God smitten as a child? Did this leave the emotional scars that caused him to continue the cycle of violence?

Can one recover from a smiting? I guess so. According to the Bible, people can be smitten with boils and hemorrhoids.

actually, yes. he's in a support group with odin, zeus, and other smitten gods. zeus doesn't like him, he's suspicious of bachelor gods, yet at the same time he keeps cheating on his wife. he doesn't consider himself smitten, but hera makes him go in hopes that he'll learn a bit of sensitivity. he entertains himself by goosing yhwh with lightning bolts, so he really doesn't get anything out of it. yhwh is the only member of the group who takes it seriously. he really thought the jesus thing would help him deal with his jealousy issues, but it really didn't. odin is just there to pick up chicks.

well let me tell you all about God, when he was young, you know grammar school age he was always the one causing the teacher to have to stop mid sentence and explain why making body noises was not an ideal learning environment, he made many many trips see the headmaster and discuss proper behaviour
