I've been in school for a year now I was wondering if anyone knows if I can file with being unemployed all year long. If anyone knows please let me know. Thanks.

no, Technically you are working full time at school. you just aren't getting paid for it.
In order to get unemployment you have to have worked at a paying job and either quit or got laid off.

If you had some kind of income, you might have to file. If you didn't have any income, why would you? There is nothing to be gained by trying to file on no income.

You don't file taxes unless you have had income in the past year.

You don't mention marital status. If you are married, it doesn't matter what you earned if your spouse had an income. In that case you would file a joint return.
