Hello....I am planning on doing a classified ads newspaper only (weekly)...would you know the best software to use for classified ads for the newspaper???
any more information would be good as I have no experience in the newspaper field
whats the best software used for classified ads for newspapers????? any tips how these companies actually do these classified ads??? is microsoft office ok to use???

The best software is one you know how to use well. For a simple one, Word could be fine - you can use templates or download one from microsoft.com (look in the downloads section). But your best bet is to check with the printer or printing service you intend to use to make copies - see what format they use and can handle.

Of course, if you get serious about this, you will want to invest in Quark or InDesign as they are the most sophisticated layout/design programs, but I don't think you need to invest the time or money on either of those until you see how things work out.

Quark is what all the papers use (even the college papers).
