I have gotten at least 7 purchases returned/refunded that I bought online with a credit card (ebooks/downloads) and I'm wondering if there is any way that other sites could see my return history. I am not trying to take advantage of anyone but the sites offered a money back guarantee and all of them I was not 100% satisified with. (I only purchase downloads/ebooks online if theres a guarantee because for some reason a lot of them I am dissapointed with). How is someone able to see the return history?

I'm a little ignorant as im not even 18 yet. (my mom gave me permission to use her card).

There is no way any store (online or walk in) will be able to see your credit card history when you are making purchases.

The only way a company could possibly know about your return history is if you shop at that same company and they keep internal return records on their customers.

The "only" ones who actually see "what" is purchased and returned on a card is the credit card company who issued the card and the card holder.
