This was the point of my last question. I didn't ask it well though.

People believe in other gods besides Jehova. To say there are only two choices (God or no God) isn't fair to 2/3 the world population. Whether you think our gods are "real" or not, we are living in the path of OUR gods.
The whole live like there might be a god is safter then not arguement is so hollow.

Worship should be out of true devotion. I really do not care about what people believe or not believe in. I believe that we all have our own paths to follow in life and we have to follow it. No one else can interfere on this journey. It pretty much reminds me of the whole Frost poem "two roads diverged in a wood, and I took the one less traveled". A person should follow their own path in spirituality even if it's not common or "mainstream". Believing in something out of fear and "just to be safe" is wrong. It's being false to yourself and to your values. I would prefer someone who is always honest in their beliefs and defends it.

A person cannot have faith unless it is genuine. You cannot be a believer in Christ just to safe, or because people tell you to. Belief in Jesus is a internal change inside the person and can only occur if people have an honest belief in Him.

I have no preference. I want people to go to heaven, but since we all have free will -- why should I worry about how "sincere" someone's beliefs are?
That is a personal thing.
I think:
Believe in Jesus' atonement because you want to be "safe" or really have faith and believe because you feel the Holy Spirit.
Not for me to judge. That is between you and God.
Good Luck! :-)

Jesus was sent to earth as a savior to mankind. Christians
believe in him and so do the Muslims.
Muslims believe him as a prophet and he was last but one
prophet about 600+ years apart.
In fact Muslims also believe in Moses, Abraham and Adam
and many more(120,000+ prophets).

It is not a matter to be safe, it is the fact the religion and
beliefs are. And who ever believes in this, will always believe
in the truth.

One does not believe in anything by choice. Believing in Jesus has nothing to do with being "safe" or being something that a person "should" do. One cannot come to believe in Christ unless he is enabled to do so by God's Spirit. Unless the Holy Spirit gives the desire to know Jesus, one cannot acquire it.

God wants us to be honest with ourself and others. If you don't believe then say so, don't be wishy washy about it. He loves us no matter what we believe. I want people to know Jesus because it is the greatest experience of a lifetime. When you come to Him everything makes sense. Also, you get to go to heaven when you die.

Sara, you scored an instant hit! people who're out to make converts overlook that easy piece of positive judgment. they seem to think of that believing is a WILLFUL act and that's going to easily be automated. that's not. concept is a few thing that must be actual no count if it rather is to be properly worth something in any respect. One does not have self assurance purely with the aid of fact he/she has an identical opinion to have self assurance. the assumption to be believed must be achieveable to the hot believer before everything. enable's settle for it, techniques of God, incredibly the techniques of The Judeo-Islamic-Christian God are purely wonderful. one can not purely purely start to have self assurance them in a single day. people prefer to understand no longer purely have self assurance and the great 3 Faiths purely supply NO permissible way of understanding. a minimum of the understanding which the different mystical Faiths enable for. |Christianity makes NO allowances for non secular exploration of the better geographical regions and discourages communication with that time of existence as being evil. Islam does this besides, yet the two insist that others have self assurance. How can others have self assurance if there's no foundation FOR believing? for many persons the words in a e book purely are actually not adequate, there must be journey. If none is given then there could properly be NO concept, no count HOW plenty lip-provider is given to assertion of concept. Such declarations are lies at worst, wishful imaginings at acceptable. In the two case, IF that distinctive concept of God is actual, his attractiveness would be denied with the aid of fact the concept grow to be in no way actual and that man or woman is condemned. How can a deity condemn a man or woman to damnation for unbelief whilst that being has in no way made himself achieveable interior the 1st place? certainly one of those being is answerable for committing grave injustices and subsequently isn't worth of worship interior the 1st place. for this reason, that being isn't the all loving, all sensible being it fairly is declared. On a personal quest to know the Lord better...I learned to believe in the Father(God), Son(Jesus), and the Holyghost. If you seek him for your self, in honesty, and in truth-your faith will change, thus a belief(knowing) that will change your world.

Come real or don't come at all, that's my motto. That 2/3 of the world is against God. Live in the world be not part of it. The world is against God. The world and God are enemies.

As a Christian I would want everyone to believe in Jesus, but they shouldn't do it just to be 'safe.' Religion is a tricky area and can't be forced upon others, they need to decide if they should believe or not.
