Amem,The Scriptures abound with examples of those who put forth concerted efforts in seeking God. One such person was Jacob, who strenuously grappled with God’s materialized angel till dawn. As a result, Jacob was given the name Israel (Contender with God) because he “contended,” or “persisted,” “exerted [himself],” “persevered,” with God. The angel blessed him for his earnest endeavor.

It's widely recognized among free people that a demon, perhaps even Satan himself, gave the quran to muhammad, who mistook the evil spirit for an angel. Not surprisingly, to speak such a thought is punishable by death under islamic totalitarian rule.

"Could Mohammad had heard this account and changed it for his own benefit. "

Choked By an Angel would make a seriously awesome spin-off of Touched by an Angel. Every week, angels of vengeance would come down and kick the piss out of evil people. Man, a great tv show idea!

Actually the word chocked is not in the subject at all ..he was extremely terrified because he saw the angle in his real shape.
Can not be a demon.. demons teach evil and denying of our Lord.

Angel didn't choke but held Mohammad SAW in his arms and squeezed him real hard. Mohammad had feelings like Angel will break his ribs.
Angel was same who was Holy Ghost that came to Mary, the mother of Jesus and the same who helped Jesus in his mission. Angel Gabriel kept bringing messages and verses of Quran from God to Prophet Mohammad for a period of 23 years. He often came and told Mohammad SAW pointing him who are his enemies and what conspiracies they are planning to kill you and your mission of Islam. He gave information to Mohammad SAW of every meeting Atheists and Jews held and were always planning to kill Prophet during his stay in Mecca. They came three times to Madina to kill Prophet and all his followers. Muslims defeated Athiests in every battle with the help of armed Angels.

When Mohammad the last Prophet of God was dying, Gabriel was crying. Mohammad asked the reason of his crying and he answered that this is my last trip to earth and seeing you last time. Because Allah has completed the religion Islam with you and no any Prophet will come after you. Mohammad died same day..

Following was the first revelation to Prophet when Angel Gabriel appeared to him first time in the cave of Hira out of Mecca.
Think on the meanings if it is a message of Demon. He brought the entire Quran slowly in period of 23 years.

Al-Alaq | 19 verses | The Clot سورة العلق
#96 | Makkah

1 Proclaim! (or read!) in the name of thy Lord and
Cherisher, Who created-
2 Created man, out of a (mere) clot of congealed blood:
3 Proclaim! And thy Lord is Most Bountiful,-
4 He Who taught (the use of) the pen,-
5 Taught man that which he knew not.

Read the entire Quran at the following site and see if it can be from a Demon:

Click the draw down arrow by the 96 Al-Alaq [19] , choose any chapter of Quran you want to read and then click Display on right side after choosing which translator you want to read. Most popular is Yusuf Ali in all English speaking
countries because his style is similar to Bible.

Save it in your favorites if you are interested to read Quran in English and to do more research yourself on Islam.

May God guide you to the right way of God that Islam preaches and millions of non-Muslims are accepting Islam inspite of all the anti-Islam propaganda western press is broadcasting all the times through out the world. More they talk bad about Islam, more nonb-Muslims become curious and want to learn about Islam.

Remember whom God chooses to guide some one, no one can divert him/her to the wrong path. And unless God guides, none can see the right way of Islam.

No.
We don`t speculate on our prophets` words like previous nations did (to whom prophets came). They ridiculed their prophets and killed them, we believe in our prophet`s words 100 %.
We learn from the mistakes of our previous generations of humanity, if we deny our prophet or twist his words or speculate about what they said (like u r suggesting) we will be loosers and guide-less.
So my answer to you is "NO" it could never have been possible. It WAS an angel that came to him with the message from Allah.
