Since I was a kid,I've had this "ability" if you will,to see things and people as they truly are. You know,the "alligator smile". And I have the habit of bringing it to the person's attention. Let's just say it makes me "unforgettable" at social gatherings.

I smell everything before I eat it.
I never noticed that I did, until a coworker told me. Then another and another. Some told me it's "strange" and others said it could be perceived as being rude.
I suppose it could be considered rude, but I'm sure it's saved me from at least one case of food poisoning.
