You know, The one thing I dont like is, Religious people they have "Freedom to religion"Yes thats true... But the opposite side also has the "freedom to express there self... And sometimes Christians and Others, get really mad at that. They can express there opinion.(Opposite Religion or non religous). Same as Atheist Speaking Against Christians, Opposite... So why do religion groups and non religous people get angry when the other bashes there religion. Freedom of expression.

This is my opinion but to me, Your kinda saying im Un-American not to give fellow people the same right i have.

Note: I could be taking Freedom of expression out of context....

If you dont understand, say you dont I'll rephrase it.

Rephrased: Why do religous groups not expect people to say anything bad about there religion, yet the person with another religion has the "Freedom of expression" and kind blows that right away.

I understand what you're saying. I don't think there's any reason pertaining to religion for it.. I think that there are just simply a lot of close-minded people who don't like to hear about anything other than their own beliefs.

and in my honest opinion.. I think a lot of people just don't want to face the fact that MAYBE..just maybe.. their religion is just bs.

Where we have a problem is that people get all irritated or offended when someone displays a religious symbol but then think it is okay to wear a shirt with something really obscene on it, claiming free speech. It has to work both ways. I won't offend you if you won't offend me. (or is it I'll offend you because you offended me?)

On this forum we have the freedom to express opinions, you will read things from every possible point of view. Keep it clean, be respectful of each other, wait...I think I must be dreaming!!

Your exactly right. Many people think that freedom of religion should only apply to their specific religion. When someone has the audacity to question them about anything they go from scraming about religous freedom to religious persecution. Yet, it is always ok for them to question and put down anyone else's religion.

Please rephrase...

Just kidding, I think I do get the gist of what you are saying. I believe everyone ought to have the freedom to believe whatever religion they want and to talk about if they like, everyone should be equal under the law. I'd just like the right not to have religion shoved at me all the time in public. I think it should be more of a private matter.

A persons religion is a very personal thing. It hurts to see other people bash God.For anyone to disagree with my opinion to me is fine. That don't hurt my feelings. That's only my opinion. But God does not need my help or anyone Else's help to defend him.He can and will take care of his business, but when a person has a personal relationship with God,it hurts to hear anyone say anything negative or of disbelief. But you do have that right

Anyone would get mad if you talk about there religion. They believe what ever they want and feel is necessary. I mean if someone started calling you stupid or anything like that wouldn't you get mad.

Americans generally want to make sure that none of their rights are infringed upon. They just aren't very good at making sure everyone else has equal rights.

It's a major problem of the "ME" attitude.

Is this the old, "I don't believe in your religion", "well that's ok cause you're going to Hell" thing? If so, I agree.

Because there is a ridiculous notion that people should "respect religion."
