Upon hearing of his cousin, John's beheading by Herod, Jesus tried to go to the desert to be alone, but the crowds followed him on foot. When saw this huge crowd, in the midst of his grief, he felt compassion and healed their sick and then fed them from the five loaves and two fishes with 12 baskets of remnants left over after feeding the 5000 men plus women and children (Matthew 14:12-21 and also in Mark Luke and John).

This touches me the most today because it inspires me to continue serving loving and giving regardless of how much I may be saddened, down, depressed. It also indicates that God is constant no matter how I feel and that others can be helped even if I'm not feeling up to it. To not turn away from the constant demands of the world just because I'm feeling like I'd like to have some privacy for awhile.

For me it's the woman with the issue of blood, in Mark 5. No one laid hands on her, but her own faith caused her to be healed when she reached out for Jesus. I had arthritis in my neck and shoulders, was on 3 medications and couldn't raise my arms higher than shoulder level. I went everyday for 6 months to a healing school they had at our church, and learned the scriptures re. healing. I would walk my dog and recite those scriptures, and sing to God the songs we praised him with in that class. No one prayed for me or laid hands on me, and one day, while walking my dog, after about 6 mo. I realized I was totally free from the arthritis! I could finally raise my arms to God. I have never had a problem since, and am off all medication for arthritis!

John chapter 5 Pool of Bethesda near Sheep Gate.

Jesus alone among the poor, sick sheep of his flock. Jesus asks a man if he wants to be healed. Some people do not want help. There were other sick people at the pool. Why where they not healed? Maybe lack of Faith. Despair will kill us as sure as cancer. Eating away at our soul, our hope. So Jesus found one man with enough hope left to be healed. And this man did not even know who Jesus was. He just knew that someone healed him. What love Jesus showed. Caring, kindness. Desiring to heal this man. even when local religious leaders said this was a "sin"

God's law is more powerful than Man's law.
Do the next right thing... whether we get credit or not.
God knows our hearts and will "reward" us in God's timing.
Who knows... maybe you will entertain an "angel"

John 1:29, "Behold the Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the world".
Here John the Baptist testifies to the fact that Jesus when he baptised Him in the Jordan River took on the worlds sin as the sacrificial Lamb, thereby washing us completely clean of all our sins. He then took these sins to the Cross where He paid the wages for all our sins instead of us with His life (1 John 5:6-11). Remember this, Jesus could never have been crucified if He never took our sins upon Himself when He was baptised.

The man who had an infirmity for 38 years (John 5). He thought his healing would come if he were placed in the "moving water", but that was until he was healed by the "Living Water", Jesus Christ! When Jesus asked this man if he wanted to be made whole, the man answered with the excuse that he had no one to put him in the moving water and that others always got in front of him. Jesus answered his answer with "Rise, take up thy bed and walk". I believe Jesus was essentially telling him and us, that we do not need a "middle man" to get our healing, when we have direct access to our healing from the Living Water Himself! Good question, God bless you!!!

The woman with the issue of blood, is the most beautiful show of faith I can image, And her respect for Him, as her Savior, She knew she did have to put her hands on Him. Just knew if she could touch the hem of His garment, she would made whole, and she was. What faith.
can you, image if all Christians would work for that kind of faith.
what we could do for America and all man kind. Thank God for his Word. Blessing to all and a God Blessed New Year!

The time when Jesus freed the Gaderene demoniac. I value this healing/deliverance miracle highly because it shows me Jesus can take the most extreme situations on and is not even remotely "challenged" by them.

I had relatives who exposed me to hideous occult practices as a very small child. This abuse lead me to be suicidal by age 18, even though I had repressed almost all memories of these experiences. I don't like sharing this part of my story because it is so ugly and horrible, but Jesus is willing to help us no matter what happens or how horrid it was or how devastating its effects on us have been.

We worship One who is truly Lord of All !!! Nothing is too difficult for Jesus. That is tremendously reassuring when we face difficulties in life that will overwhelm us on our own. We don't ever have to be on our own when Jesus is in our lives.

Isn't Jesus Wonderful and Amazing !!!!!
