I was chatting to a woman and a man I meet on a chat room and later on the phone. As they are older than me, (I'm 27), the woman is 36 and the man is 39 I tought it would be nice to chat to older people. I don't know them in person. They two begun to ask me very personal questions about things that aren't her and his bussiness and they got vulgar and nasty . I got really annoyed and felt uncomfortable. I hung up on both of them and blocked them on the yahoo messenger.
Was I rude to them?

Oh no, you're perfectly entitled to choose who you want to talk to (or not). You can meet really nice ppl over the net but there are also many freaks & pervs out there. Why would you have to continue a conversation that is making you uncomfortable? You're not obligued to them in any way. If they're not the kind of people you wanted to talk to, it's ok that you just ban them, no further explanations needed.

Let me tell you my personal case just so you're more careful next time.... I had the BRILLIANT idea of signing up on match.com..... I started getting a lot of requests to add ppl to my messenger and I did. I chatted with several guys, some were interesting, some were plain boring. There was this one guy who wanted me to take him to a party I was attending the very 1st time we chatted (!!!??) as we live in the same town... and then I got this other one whom on the 2nd time we chatted said that he wanted to have sex with me ASAP!!! WTF!??? I didn't even reply, I immediately hit the NO ADMIT button. There have been other guys asking me for my cell ph # but I've refused to give it out so far. I prefer to feel safer before I give my contact info to anyone.... there are a lot of freaks out there, so take care!

Since you felt uncomfortable and felt they were vulgar and nasty, you were not rude to hang up. Walk away from any situation that makes you feel uncomfortable. Follow that gut instinct.

No.
And this should be a learning experience to be careful whom you speak to online, on the phone or in person.

They were completely disrespectful and you were correct to block them on IM. Hope they do not have your phone number.
If you could report them, do it. If they call, you should imediately call the phone company and report them as harassing you.

No, you did the right thing. If the conversation was offensive to you, you have the right to end the conversation and hang up the phone.

Sounds like they were interested in setting up a threesome with you...if that's not your thing, you were perfectly correct in hanging up on them.
