(((Mask))) that sounds like a good punishment. I bet it would deter any future clones.

I wouldn't do it. I think the punishment should be me pulling a big huge mallet out of my pocket - just like in the movie - and hitting the cloner's fingers with it.

(((Vishal)))

Yes, it would be unethical to clone someone without that person's consent.

However, cloning (in an of itself) is okay. I believe it will find a place in the Reproductive Health business.

That said, most cloning research focuses on the cloning of certain tissues (and body PARTS), rather than entire humans.

EDIT: oh, and punishment? Well, I guess malpractice, for starters. And perhaps somekind of theft punishment. But what would you do to the clone? Nothing. It would be a human, the same as any other. People don't think about this but a "clone" would be exactly the same as an identical twin. Just born at a different time than the "original."

I am indeed disappointed, Vishal...
once a viable DNA is obtained, *consent* means nothing...
so, religion has nothing to do with consent and the cloning...
cloning is ultimately a dead end street as Dolly has showed us, genetic mistakes are amplified in cloned beings...
the *punishment* is the prevalence of genetic disorders leading to an early death which is overwhelming in cloned beings (vs these born from an union of a sperm and and an egg). So , what exactly religion has to do with all this ?

Cloning a person is wrong. Period. Without their consent? That is way beyond wrong. I have no idea what the punishment would be, but it should be harsh.

Um...as extraordinary as that sounds, i've got considered it, and located you to defective. Molestation/rape potential certainly having intercourse. God by no potential had intercourse with Mary, and consequently it does no longer be rape or Molestation. And to boot, Mary isn't/wasn't a baby. She replaced right into a grown lady. i think of he'd be on the intercourse criminal's record if chanced directly to blame (which I doubt could take place, Defence has a reliable case) yet no longer a Pervert or baby Molestor. So...He did no longer RAPE her, yet only used her as a vessle to hold Jesus into the international...tho...that's going to've been truly extraordinary for Mary...

Yes. Punishment?
Eek...I don't really believe in punishment per se.

Education. Restitution.

It would be a terrible thing to do to someone, the ultimate identity theft, but not sure what an appropriate punishment would be.

I'd probably get upset if out of nowhere I walked in on my boyfriend sleeping with me. Oh the confusion.
