For all I know there might be two words for angel, one for the masculine and one for the feminine.

There are rules that go along with masculine and feminine nouns, but there are always exceptions. "El vestido" technically follows the rule that a noun ending in "o" is masculine. "La moto" is feminine because it is an abbreviation for "la motocicleta". It's just like "bike", in Spanish they call it "la bici" because it is shortened from "la bicicleta". One more example right off hand is "la tele" because of "la televisión" (the ending "ión" is normally feminine). I hope this helps!

El angel - singular.
Los angeles - plural.
It is masculine.

Masculine...in italian say "Angelo"...masculine noun....look up dictionary.....

I don't think angels have gender.
