If you are just kissing and hugging there is no problem no matter what the age difference! (you might want to draw the line at 90 though).
If the age of consent is 16, I don't see why there would be a problem in any situation.
Don't be in a hurry. I was a virgin till I was 20 (mostly for religious reasons, and also because I was scared of VD, which several of my friends got!) and it worked out just fine!

Yeah they can but it doesn't mean they should. It doesn't matter what I think anyway they are going to do want to no matter what I think. Especially when it comes to a 16 year old I remember how I was at that age. The 21 year old probably only wants some booty maybe his first virgin at that point it becomes illegal unless they wait until the 16 year old turns 18 but that's a long time. So what ever you think.

In Nevada she is legal. In other states, however, even this kissing and hugging might be construed as sexual molestation if the age of consent is 18. If you take over a state line and have sex, that is a violation of the Mann Act and a federal crime. Stay in Nevada where there are plenty of things to do on a date.

When I graduated from Highschool I realized that I qualified to date girls/women who were also out of highschool. I thought this was really exciting and that life was great. I also realized that if I couldn't get a woman out of highschool that would be a signal that something was wrong with me. I have never dated a girl in highschool again (which is especially good because I am now married). I think if a 21yr old wants to date a 16 yr old then it is a sign that women his own age want nothing to do with him!!! If he can't at least wait until youve graduated then he is a serious loser!!!

Age is just a number, and honestly, I prefer older male relationships because the guy is about the same maturity level as you are at sixteen when he's 20 or 21. Its only a 4 or 5 year age difference, and as long as its okay with your parents, then why not? My mom and her husband are 10 years apart, my aunt and uncle are 8 years apart...The only difference is that they're older, but its the same thing right?
I'm 19 and my fiancee is 23. Almost every guy I've tried to date that is my age is immature, thinks about that ONE THING only, and hasn't had any world experience. I've been through a lot so I need someone thats on my level and so on...Don't stress it as long as its cool with your parents.

You can consent to sex at 16. However, there is a 3 year rule. If someone is an adult, they are not allowed to date someone 3 years younger then them, so yes, at 16 you wouls be allowed to have sex with an 18 year old. At 17 with an 19 year old, and at 18, anyone 16 or older who consents.
However, your saying no sex. So there is no law preventing that, but if you have sex, he could be charged with the violation of the 3 year rule.

age of consent means that you can, at the age of 16 determine if you would like to be with someone 21 or older, from a relationship point of view.
but think about this, if he is 21, why isnt he dating 19, 20, 21 year olds?
i mean, you are probably beautiful, but the thing you have to ask yourself, "what do I want out of this relationship. and what does he want out of this relationship".
then you have to answer that question, for yourself and him in your mind.
then ask him what he wants, and see if it is the same thing.
if it is, maybe you were meant for each other, but more oft than not, good luck with that.
sweetheart, the world of love is really tricky. be careful, guard your heart. you have plenty of time to find love.
but remember this, while most women are looking for love, most men are looking for lust.
a lusty mind, is clouded with fantasies and thoughts of pleasure. with no regard for the truth.
love and lust have some hard lessons to learn, be careful.
good luck

No sexual intercourse is involved yet, until he begins to demand it. If you're not interested in having sex with a 21 year old man, he's likely not to be interested in you for long. Try to end it, and make sure he doesn't pressure you into something you will regret.
Good luck.

If the age of consent is 16, and there are no legal problems, I guess not. It does seem to me that the mind, as well as the body, are not fully developed yet, but who am I to say?

yeah right, what do you think leads to sexual intercourse. you best check the law more careully before your male friend ends up in trouble.
just another thing to think about besides the age of consent being 16 in nevada.....are either of you prepared to care for the baby that might just come out of this kissing and hugging with the male friend as you call him?
