Young dogs have soft bones and delicate joints, and it's very important not to overdo it in the beginning. No more than 5 minutes for every month of their age, eg a 6 month old puppy can go on a 30 minute walk. Do not be tempted to exercise him more than that: he will exercise himself in your garden when he goes out and a lot of time spent running around can damage his joints. Also make sure he has all his vax up to date.

do not take your pup off your property until he has all it's shots! Usually around 16 weeks old.
A nice walk may infect your pup with Parvo. Keep your pup safe until he has had all it shots!
Opps sorry for the type o!

He needs to have all his puppy vaccinations and his rabies before you take him out in public.
You can walk him in your yard if you know no sick dogs have been there, but don't take him in public areas until he is fully vaccinated.
