I have never seen such outright lies as some of the answers to this question. The overwhelming majority of people who are the educated elite in society accept the T of E. Here we have a bunch of half wits whose only education seems to be from the mouths of their crapulous clergy, saying that they know better than scientists.

Anyone who says that their disbelief in evolution is based off of science is either being dishonest or they never really understood it in the first place. All evidence points towards evolution being correct, with nothing against it. The only reason anyone disbelieves it is that they would rather believe the creation myths of scientifically illiterate, ignorant nomads who wandered around in the desert herding goats, claiming they were the "Chosen People."

Kudos to Desiree. I find it completely disingenuous that someone who has accepted the Genesis fable on faith would disregard evolution because of its alleged scientific flaws. Very few creationists can be bothered to discern what the meaning of "theory" is. None of them are likely to disregard the theory of gravity because it is after all, just a "theory."

First of all Evolution was made up by Darwin a complete atheist who despised God, he even married his sister or first cousin. He along with his phony evolution went down into his grave along with him.
But because people also despise God like him have exhumed this phony evolution from his stinking grave and try and shove this lie down our throats.
We need to believe in every word in the Bible just as it is. Everything that has and is to happen in this world is all in the Bible. Because they have not been born again by the water and the Spirit this book has been shut up tight so that no-one can fathom out its secrets. All they are able to see is black words on white paper like a blind person feeling his way around, thinking this is what it means.
We don't discount science but use it to our benefit, but believe in the God that allowed us to create science and everything else.
'In Him we move and have our being', Glory to God in the Highest.

Mostly science. The mathematical odds against evolution having resulted in the existence of human beings are so astronomical as to be ludicrous. Comparitively, the odds actually favor Jesus having fulfilled over 300 Old Testament prophecies and thereby proving Himself to be the Son of God.

The term "Creationism" describes a particular theory which seems unsupported by the totality of evidence. However, belief in a Creator is well supported by the totality of evidence.
Of course, true science harmonizes with the bible.

Evolution is a theory. Not a solid fact. Evidence points to it, but there is still reasonable doubt.
Christianity is a way of life, based on solid faith. Evidence cannot disprove or prove it, that's why it is faith. Theological beliefs answer the mysteries that science answers with questionable responses.

based on both
evolution cant be proven scientifically because science is about repeatable processes whereas the world is in being just the once and we cant repeat the same experiments to prove evolution
