Well it matters if he bites when he plays then when he gets your hands go ouch really loudly he will beable to tell he hurts you and he will be more careful that is how puppies with each other act. If he just comes up and bites you then grab his scruff look him in the eyes and firmly say no. He should get that that isn't a good behavior after time.

What kind of biting? Playful biting or biting with intent to cause harm? There's a major difference in how each is handled. Also, how old is this dog? That also determines how it should be handled. If you can give more details about what is going on, we can give much more useful answers.

Biting or mouthing is very common with puppies. You have to be firm with him and say NO when he tries to bite. I am hoping it is a puppy you have, and not a grown dog, as it is almost impossible to train a grown dog out of this habit. That's why you should stop them doing it as a puppy.

f he bites YOU maybe you should try putting some bad smelling stuff on your hand or wherever he/she bites. But make sure it won't kill them, only make them stop.
As for biting other people, I have no clue :)
