'Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?'
Where's the logic in that? How does nature teach you anything about the right length for a man's hair? Who cares? What conceivable relevance does any of it have today?

No. 1 Corinthians was believed to have been written by Paul, and he was writing against long-haired men and short-haired women, but about a specific custom of his times. You shouldn't take these verses as reason not to have long hair, nor for women not to have short hair.

The bible says its a shame. My son has long hair and is a Christian, so I guess if you feel convicted, you shouldn't have it.
