Muslims, with the least amount of words
possible, can you explain why you claim
your religion to be so peaceful, and at
same time the entire middle east is in
turmoil because of your concept of a
ideal society?

it hapen in 1948, WW1 was in 1914,
and had nothing to do with colonialism.
Read about Ottoman Empire and WW1

Also, during WW2 predominantly Muslim
countries were envolved. Such has Bosnia, Croatia, ETC ETC as you can see it had nothing to do with religion.

It is USA caused has caused termoil in Middle East and now you accuse Muslim for that. What Iraqis did against USA that USA needed to occupy their country. It is costing your country hundreds of billions of dollars being there. You can buy oil lot cheaper in world market then taking free oil from there spending so much and getting your young and handsome men killed every day.

What for? If people don't believe in western democracy,

Islam means peace in arabic. But the only reason thre is a turmoil in the middle east is becase of the historical differences between the Jews and Muslims. If you really want to understand then look up the Crusades. And, the the prior episodes of the holocaust.The Crusade is a long term effect on todays turmoil between America and Mid-East, also Israel and the Mid-Eastern countries.

The events in the middle east have to do with politics not religion - some bigots try and paint everything with a religious hue


Is like saying "how can Christianity be a religion of peace with what happened in WWII?" The people fighting were Christians but the war was political not religious

BTW The Middle East WAS peaceful for 1400 years under Islam before the European colonialists came after WWI

are you trying to say Muslims aren't peaceful? There are some that are and some that aren't....like all Christians aren't peaceful....

you probably think you are but i don't know......you don't know every Muslim in the world, and I don't know every Christian in the world. So I can't conclude that all Christians aren't peaceful or are. It depends on your personality, not religion. Be careful about that. If you actually read what's Islam, then you will know it's a peaceful religion, and maybe Christianity is too but I don't know because I don't know the whole religion.

Religion is defined by it's teaching, not it's followers. One of the issues with Islam is it's variety of interpretations by people, which is why there are so many sects. Sometimes many verses in the Quran are taken out of context, and sometimes many hadiths (the sayings of the Prophet) are ambiguous in terms of their legitimacy. Islam is very simple and peaceful, which is why you don't see normal everyday non-extremist Muslims doing everything any other person would do.

Your question has been posted here by other people before as well, before asking this question again I bid you to look a the world around you, if everyone was following their religion as it was meant to be, no one would be on here answering questions such as these.

My point? Both sides need to stop the killing and resort to wisdom and communication. Peace has to be a two way street, or there will be no peace.

When does the finger pointing stop? When will people understand that killing each other will NEVER achieve peace? How sincere is the "wanting" to live in peace, when both sides resort to vicious killings?

people would disagree why the middle east is in turmoil. (and not the whole middle east). to be honest with you its partially because of the fact that many Muslims do not act as Muslims. mainly because of western influence and colonies many years ago.
