I'm going to get a lot of nonsense answers, but none that will be based on logic, reason or facts. Because there is no other answer that stands under inspection.

there are LOTS of secular writings about Jesus, within a few years of his death, plenty of time for people who wanted to dissprove Jesus to do so, but could not do so.

agnostic. . . God has all-power. Even the power to bring the dead back to life. In fact even the devil gets his power from God. Why He allows the devil to run around I have no idea, but he will get his in the end, no worries about that. But I'm not smart enough to figure God out, or strong enough to tell Him what to do.

luderick, the body that you said disappered? Also reappeared, explain that. I asked for people to explain what really happened, nobody has explained anything yet.

I love how you dismiss the answers before you even get them. Shows you are a true close minded individual. I will attempt to disregard your disregard and answer that for you.
If you are of the belief that Jesus is the son of God. And you believe that God is all powerful then God not Jesus resurrected Jesus.
If you believe that witchcraft is wrong which any self respecting bible thumper does then you should view the concept of resurrecting the dead as witchcraft.
If you use any form of common sense you have been left with you would realize that dead is indeed dead and doesn't ever come back to talk about it. The story is meant to give you hope. If it does that for you then your belief in it, is not in vain.
Peace to you.

What is logic? What makes one person's reality not true? Ask yourself one thing what single life has ever made such a difference in the world besides Christ. A difference with out him raising his hand to hurt another. Do you doubt the power of God? Are you question His ability to resurrect?

What is the point in telling you what really happend. You are already firm in your beliefs on resurrection that never happend, So why we waste our time.
If you are sincerely willing to accept the facts God revealed in Quran, then we shall present you the quotations from Quran.

Bearing in mind that you want a rational answer based on ancient fairy tales I don't think you are in a position to be too fussy about the quality of answers.
Assuming there was a man called jesus that you are referring to, he died was poped in a hole and that's that. The myth says, from memory that the body disappeared so you could probably safely attribute that to scavenging animals. woooo spooooky.

Someone (and I'm not pointing any fingers) stole his body. He was after all somewhat of a celebrity.
Today, people are buried 6 feet deep and it's not to keep them away from the crows.

And the answer that Jesus rose from the dead DOES stand up under inspection?
The most likely answer is that Jesus himself never existed, as there is no outside-party record that states this.

then he stayed in his tomb.
or... he was cut free released from his cross. An imposter was put in his tomb. Then the inposter escaped. And when Jesus was seen again, it was concluded he had resurrected.
