Is anyone else annoyed and sick of people who answer questions rudely or with wisecracks? I know I am. Most people come on here because they really need something answered or could be scared or a number of other things. I think it needs to stop. What do you think?
Real answers only please. All rude answers or answers that are wisecracks will be reported. Thank you.

I think that people are immature and they have to be rude to everyone they talk to cause they think there tough :D

I actually think that it's improved quite a lot in the last few months. Ever since Yahoo started letting people report offensive questions and answers and started stepping up to get them removed the atmosphere here has gotten a lot nicer. It was getting really bad there for a while with people asking me meanest questions or giving the meanest answers. I think there are still people around who ask really off the wall questions just for attention and sometimes the wisecrackers may think they are answering one of those types of questions. Other times they are just being rude and wanting attention for themselves. I just try to ignore them. :)

I just signed up not too long ago. Did this forum use to be taken more seriously? Yes, I am a bit disappointed in how lightly some people are taking some very serious questions and concerns. Unfortunately I feel the general population is being represented. There are a lot of jerks out there. Some day these inconsiderate people are going to need advice or help, and nobody on here, or in their miserable lives, will care to help them out. Like the old saying goes, " people will treat you the way you treat them."

What are you going to report "rude" answers for? It's not a violation of the TOS. As long as they are not threatening. It's perfectly all right for someone to tell you that you really need to stop putting so much importance on the people on this internet website.

dang!!! so you're one of the trolls who reports people for doing nothing!!! sometimes it's necessary to be rude some people say, "ummm...I have a huge machete wound to mine neck and I'm losing blood fast. What should I do?" or just some people just don't know how to use Google or they try to make you do their homework.

yeah. its annoying. some are funny, but the rude ones are just stupid. but its getting better. i stopped using answers for a while, coz i got sick of all the stupid ppl being crap, and i jsut started again, and its all much nicer.

Some people enjoy the occasional laugh. I don't see what's wrong with jokes. Rude answers aren't cool though.
