Muhammed,
All God's creatures are His family; and he is the most beloved of God who doeth most good to God's creatures.

Riches are not from an abundance of wordly goods, but from a contented mind.

When you see a person, who has been given more than you in money and beauty; then look to those who have been given less. So that you may not hold God's benefits in contempt.

He will not enter hell who hath faith equal to a mustard seed in his heart; and he will not enter Paradise who hath a single grain of pride, equal to a mustard seed, in his heart.

This Man is highly respected by George Barnard Shaw and Micheal Hart picked him as the top most influencial personalty of history. Have so called Muslims ever read and follow his hard work and humble loving ways? Have Christians followed Jesus Christ and his loving ways too?
Why is there so much difference between them and their followers?

Mohammed did not have "humble and loving ways" at all! You should do a study on his life and work. What he wrote and how he lived - are two different things altogether!

You will notice that all the "peaceful" parts of the Koran are at the beginning of the book, and the violent things later.
This is because, Mohammed tried to convert Jews and Christians through peaceful methods at first, and when that failed - together with being rejected by his own village where he was born - he then armed 100 men with swords, and slaughtered everybody, women and children included, in the whole town. This is factual history!

After this, he then wrote in the Koran, "Jews and Christians are brothers, protecting one another .. if they won't convert - you must kill them all!"

This is why all of the violent material comes *later* in the Koran!
So Mohammed wrote, very specifically, "If you see two verses that seem to contradict each other, you must choose the *latter* (the violent), as the path to follow."

TO MAJEED - BELOW THIS RESPONSE:

Majeed, why is you don't quote the Koran to back up what you say,.. yet I quote both the Koran and factual history!
Do your research, educate yourself, & don't live in ignorance!

Even well-educated Muslims do not deny that killing Jews and Christians is a direct command of Mohammed. This is why they are taught in 'Jihad' to imitate him - because they think they will enter Heaven and be given 72 virgins!

So who's living in a fantasy world?

Peaceful and loving? .. I don't think so!

Truth can never be extinguished by the falsehood. Mohammad and his followers never killed women and children in any conflict with any group of people. You can say what ever you feel like but a great many of Non-Muslims from amongst you are acknolwledging that Islam is the truth and Mohammad is the greatest Messenger of God ever lived on the face of earth.

If you can't see the light and choose to remain in darkness, that is your mental problem.

I happen to believe that Islamic extremists are the right wingers of the Muslim faith, every social grouping has its loose units and fruitcakes, Ive lived and worked with Muslims, its a beautiful religion, very family oriented, just like most religions (I would hope), In fact its the most peaceful social group Ive ever encountered (and Im 46 years young this year)..... so when I see all this kill Muzzies crap on YA I do my best to at least post a valid reply or answer in the positive.

Most religious figures said so many contradictory and vague things that anyone can get anything they want from them. Muhammed might not be an icon of extremism, but he is ceertainly an icon of extremists, who commit acts of terror in his name - as have followers of Jesus.

The problem is faith. Once faith replaces critical thinking, irrational acts become acceptable.

As far as I am concerned, actions speak louder than words....those verses that the website has cherry picked do not negate the 203 verses that preach cold blooded murder...

He is not an Icon of anything, but lies and false faith, not a prophet, because his god is not the One True God.
