You will never know when this might happen. It will only depend on where you are at and when it happens. If you are deployed and it is put out that you will only have 3 months of your year left and will unexpectingly be extended to 15 months.
Do not count on it. Plan on 15 months.

Starting now, but the units already on 15 month tours will finish them, the units replacing them start 12 month tours.

dont ever count on something until you have the papers sayign 12 month deployment in your hand.... best bet is too count on that 15 months.....
my husband is deployed right now and we have all heard rumors saying they are coming home early however none of them are true and just peoples hopes up that dont know any different.....
