Just one slice of cheese pizza or one packet of that cinnamon oatmeal by quaker for people who are watching their weight. Which one has more calories? Which one has more grams of fat? Which one would be better for someone on a diet?

Oatmeal would be better off for a couple of reasons and more:
1. It has less fat.
2. It's healthier.
3. It'll keep you filled up longer than pizza.

Pizza is around 180-200cals per slice, even if it's just cheese. The fat will go right to your body while leaving you hungry soon afterwards, thus making you crave more food.

Obviously the oatmeal is healthier! A slice of cheese pizza may have 15 - 20 grams of fat and around 250 calories maybe. The oatmeal....a fraction of that...

Your friend spilled the beans, I'd get help. But whether you're trying to loose weight or be healthy, you shoud be concerned more with the food's glycemic index (how quickly that caloric energy is burnt; in other words, sugar bad, starch better) and fiber content then about fat and calories. Sugar turns to fat more than fat does. Also make sure to get omega fatty acids in your diet (like flax oil) to balance out the saturated fats (pizza). Oatmeal has fiber, but sugar, pizza has protein, fat and carbs, but no fiber. What does that all mean? Yeah, go read a book on nutrition. Try Nourishing Traditions.

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.

I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.

It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

Get started today!

Oatmeal is defiantly the choice if you want to loose weight this is better for you and filling the calories and fat is not an issue when it comes to oatmeal if you buy the sweetened kind than that is an issue the best way to go is buy the Quaker oats and make it fresh if you buy instant packets try to stick to Quaker OK. hope this helps

You can't lose weight with pizza. Make sure you eat oatmeal and start chewing sugar free gum. This will stop your craving for food. Make sure slso you work out and don't worry about the myth when girls workout it makes them look bigger becuase its fake. Pizza is once in a bluemoon and it has alot of grease. Next time you see a pizza put a napkin on it to asorb PART of grease. I hope you lose weight.

k wow you;re already thin. But if you wanna know, oatmeal definetly. It fills you up but doesnt have much calories or fat. It has way more nutrients than pizza, as an added bonus.

Pizza has more fat but it also has more protein and calcium. Oatmeal has more fiber. Probably similar calories, within 50 or so.

Eat the one you prefer.

I doubt it will make a HUGE difference, if any at all. However, if your a perfectionist I'd recommend calculating your calorie intake/goal everyday, and then you will be able to answer your question through fact. Not estimation. Understand? Good Luck
