With the laws governing racsism, you are tempting people to give answers to a question which will have them violated whichever answer they give. This question should be removed.

My Mom asked me the same exact question 15 years ago when I was pregnant with my son (by a black man). I told her, "I don't care if he was green, or yellow, or purple with polka-dots, as long as he loved her, and took good care of her."
My Mom said, "You wouldn't say that". I said, "Yes I would. I'm not racist or prejudice, even though you raised me to be that way."
I have a beautiful, smart, intelligent, handsome, mixed, 15-year old son.

Since I have not kids and my bf is black if one day we have kids and they grow up I will let them choose their partner because its their life their happines not mine so if their soulmate is black or white I don't care while they make happy my son and daughter.

The skin color wouldn't matter. Answers to the following questions do......
Is the guy or girl hardworking? Do they have goals they strive for? Do they abuse chemical substances? Do they know how to speak in an intelligent and intelligible manner and do so consistently? Do they know how to show respect to elders, authority figures, and people in general? Are they self-centered people or giving people? Have they achieved, or are they in pursuit of, educational goals? Do they accept responsibility? Do they feel a sense of responsibility to society and others? Do they have a desire to live modestly and within their means? Do they have an economic and investment plan for themselves? Are they modest in demeanor, dress, and appearance? Do they have a committment to LIFELONG marriage and family duties? Are they in control of their passions? Are they willing to show up for work on time daily and do their job to the best of their ability without excuses and taking unnecessary time off from work?
Those sorts of things matter to me. If a black man or black woman can pass those questions to my satisfaction, then they're just as acceptable to me as a white man or white woman that can pass those questions to my satisfaction. My standards are high, very high. But a person of any color can attain them if they have the character to rise to the challenge.

I wouldn't do anything as long as they were a nice person. Race isn't an issue to me. If it meant my children moved to another country I wouldn't be happy, but only because I'd miss them so much!!

Well, I'm actually confused by your question? Do you dislike blacks? I'm bi-racial (mothers native american/fathers black) and it's quite clear that love has no shape, size or color. If my child decided to date someone who's black or any other race I would totally except that. Times have changed. People are free to fall in love with whoever they choose. What can you do? Restrict him/her from dating? Imagine how that will damage your relationship with your child. Love is Love... And Peter, f*** you and society

What would be wrong with that? Love see's NO color. If he makes her happy and does not hurt her in anyway. I am all for it!!! I would back her up regardless what ANYONE says.
