I had a crush on this guy for several months, and I thought he liked me because he always looks at me and sometimes in class he brought me a book from the bookshelfs since the teacher had the classroom set there. But 2 weeks ago i found he started a relationship with this girl. Now i'm trying to forget him but i keep seeing his name everywhere not because i want to its just always there. for example like the other day i was reading the summary of a movie and the actors name was the same. And that not the only time is it a sign or what it not like i want to see or hear his name everywhere i go and its no my imagination.

Sometimes you can't be sure, and I hate that. Maybe he does like you and if he does maybe he has a hard time showing it or telling you. And maybe he's dating this girl to see your reaction to make sure you like him, who knows. Human beings are complicating people. And anyways you THOUGHT he liked you, maybe he was just being nice. I was in class once and there was this boy who did the same thing. And for the whole year I never had the guts to ask him if he did like me and you know what I finally found out on the last day of school he did. We can never fully understand the opposite sex no matter how hard we try. If you know what I mean? Sorry if this didn't help.

Okay, you are obviously young enough to be in the learning stages of how to deal with boys and men. So, I hope I don't sound demeaning, but here's what I'd tell you if I was your older sister:
1. Boys need a certain amount of encouragement, but if they get too much they will feel "chased" and will look elsewhere.
2. Boys like it when girls talk to them, not flirt. You can send messages with body language that aren't overly flirtatious, but that most people, including boys, usually recognize. If you touch your hair when you talk with him, or look at him, it doesn't have to look sleazy, and can send a definite "I'm interested in you" message. The other thing is that while you are talking with him, while standing close, reach out at a convenient and simple time in the conversation and lightly touch him. Don't hold on, just touch him with your fingertips and then stop. Like you would reach out to a girlfriend when she tells you something exciting.
3. This boy, like lots of men, is interested in more than one girl at a time. That doesn't mean they are cheating. In school, one of the best ways for girls to let a boy know they like them is to have a trusted friend tell him. You can have a friend tell him that you don't want him to know this, because you respect that he has a girlfriend, but you really really like him.
4. You can get yourself assigned to work with him on a project in class. Or, you can work it around to where you volunteer to be his partner in something.
