In reality - very few.

US embassies are protected by a Marine detachment, host nation military and police and contract security specialists.

BTW - do you have a point to make or are you suggesting that we withdraw diplomatic recognition from democracies that terrorists want to rule?

Think they should ship the whole Texas National Guard to Iraq and leave them there protecting that embassy as long as we are there.

It may be interesting to recall that US embassy in Iran was one of the biggest US embassies.

Why do we even bother to have a Embassy there.We should bring our people home before they are snatched again.DOES ANYONE REMEMBER THE PAST ANYMORE!
