write wanna? on a paper and your number under it

he will have no idea what is going on but would call you and then you'd have his number

Write down your phone number on a small piece of paper and hand it to him the next time you see him and just smile. The guy might be clueless, but even a clueless guy would know that that means you want him to call you. Then, the ball is in his court, you've made the "first move" that you are admirably willing to make, but yet, without a lot of drama and its very cool. I would be that he's probably thinking, "She'd never go out with me because she is friends with my step-sister." This cool, yet very effective move would be a huge step forward.

I may be somewhat traditional, but I recommend you actually have a face to face friendship before you move into the virtual world. If the two of you chat, and he does like you, he'll eventually ask you out.

A senior would never date a freshman. Get over it.

well you're going to have to be obvious. give him your number and if he's interested he'll call. if not, don't be too upset. try talking to some freshmen boys.
