Your words don't mean much; it's your actions that will have to convince her that you're sorry. If you did something wrong or hurtful then you must show her that you are doing everything you can to insure it will never happen again. Work at becoming the guy she thought you were when she fell in love with you.
If she's upset about something silly that isn't really a fault of yours ...and she's unforgiving....then she's immature and you should evaluate whether you really want her as a girlfriend. Sometimes a break-up is the best thing that can happen to you.

Maybe rather than say you're sorry show her you are sorry. Do something big and romantic like fill up the bathtub with bubbles and light candles and have rose petals strewn on the floor leading to the bath room. Have the song "I'm sorry" playing on auto loop. She will probably just giggle and forget all about being mad.

Of course it depends on what you did & how serious the "mistake" was. Sometimes the hurt is just too deep it can't be rectified regardless of how many times you say it or how you say it. IF you do have a chance, send her some flowers or ask her out to one of her favorite places. Maybe bringing back some GOOD memories w/mend the hurt. OR, you could just out rite ask her what can you do to show her how sorry you really are. Best to you regardless...

Tell her directly and to her face. Only p*ssies use letters or phone calls to break up. She deserves better treatment. And dragging it out is needlessly cruel to her.

So what you do is take her someplace quiet and say, "We need to talk." Then tell her in straightforward terms that it's not working for you. Don't blame her. Simply say that you want to go in a different direction. Tell her that you really do care for her, but you don't want to be romantically involved.

Then, after the inevitable shock, be prepared for some negative accusations. Be understanding, and then leave.

Then leave her alone. The worst thing you can do is to keep calling her to make her feel better.

Apparently you screwed up big time.

If "I'm sorry" is not working - it's because she does not believe you. She does not think that you are actually sorry for what ever you did and probably don't understand why she's upset. You don't "get it".

Send her flowers and write something like.

This is one of those things I wish I could undo. I will never take you for granted again and I need your forgiveness, as this is tearing me apart.

Sincerely,

Do not call her for any circumstance, not even to find out she received them. Also order a very nice arrangement.

What did you do wrong? Sometimes nothing will work, sometimes you've hurt someone too much to make it right. Otherwise - actions speak louder than words.
