Its better to work for an honest fair boss. Gender doesn't matter.

In my experience as a woman and having had many bosses, I'd have to say MALE......... it's true they're more likely to harrass you, but except for 1 case all of my male bosses have been stable sensible men with different managing styles but at least no mood swings. I don't want to bash my female mates but the 2 female bosses I've had have been REAL b1tches.... moody, feeling superior to you (I agree they see other women as a threat), unstable, bringing their personal problems into the workplace....... UGHH. I hope not to work for a woman again, ever. But I do have to say in our defense..... that whenever *I* was the boss my employees did like me and got along with me very well!!! Mostly males, I must say..... but a few girls too.

It should only matter when you want to use their gender to get on their good side. For example if you get along with women better than you do with men then it's easier to be friends with your female boss. (and visa versa)

There is one other example I can site, in which if you're a male with a male boss it's easier to (for lack of a better phrase) act like men around each other without having to worry about offending someone. Now I'm not saying all women are easily offended or that all men aren't offended by "man" talk, but as someone who works in an all male platoon I'm able to dish any male oriented question/joke/problem without having to check around the corner first.

There are other cases where people use their sexuality to gain footing in a business, but I prefer not to think about that kind of trash.

doesn't really matter of the gender of the person it just depensd how the treat their workers. I have met alot of females that are exteremly great bosses then other really big bit*hes. Same with Males. Some are a great person then some are just complete asses. Just depends how the want to do their job at that place and how they treat everyone.

I've worked for both and I tend to get along better with male bosses. The ones I've worked for seem more laid back.

It's always preferable to work for a better boss.

i have had both and it really doesn't matter. it depends on the individual boss. no boss is the same as the last one, unless its the same boss lol but ya its just a personal opinion

It shouldn't really matter. I've had good bosses and terrible, they have been male and female.

Male boss, female bosses tend to be moody when its around the time, then all hell breaks loose, also they can wriggle out of mistakes they made.

Plus Mmm think i will stop now.

A female boss because females are more sided with their feelings and are softer when it comes to understanding things.

So i suggest getting a female boss.
more understanding
helping
caring

hope that helped!
