I hear that yoga is much better for your body. Running hurts, and yoga allows you to stretch your body which I can imaging feels better while your getting exercise, and you feel better after.
As you can see I do neither of these, but I watched a show on PBS from Wayne Dyer the other night and he said that..
He used to run 8 miles a day... Turned to yoga..
What if you did both to stretch your body..

I have run 201 straight days today and notice that I feel the same as when I ran cross country in high school. Currently I am out of high school, so this is really a productive thing for me to do. I will also be running a ton more so I just do what I did in cross, by running a lot but taking a break after a while, like twenty miles a week or so?

Almost every one of my sicknesses/injuries I can attribute to long periods of consecutive days running without a break. So I always recommend 1 day off from running - PERIOD. Look at running as a lifestyle change, a journey but not a destination. Any interruption is tragic, so protect your body.
Now about the ice. What's the ice about? Are you already injured?

You can run everyday wihtout getting injured, it just depends on the distance you run and the intensity with which you run. If you're approaching running correctly, you shouldn't have to ice everyday. No one I know does, if it's necessary for you to ice after every run, you may want to check with a doctor, because that's not good for your joints or your back or your knees and can lead to serious health problems later in your life.

It is possible, some people run everyday for years without injury.
If you stay flexible and stretch and not over do it, that is don't run too far without recovery then you can run everyday.
It is a good idea to rest sometimes.
So, depending on how far, and how intense or fast your run, and your body, sure you can run everyday.

I don't think you have to ice.
If you run everyday just start building up each day a little by little until you get to the level you want to be at. As long as you don't over-strain yourself you shouldn't get hurt.

i did that for cross country. sunday was known as an "active rest" day where you are still productive but you are not running ex: raking leaves, washing a car, vacuuming. so i think you should be fine as long as you stretch and do a cool down after you run.

switch your shoes to sumthing more cushioned and icing doesn't always work. i just use bengay that that works. bengay is a cream that's fast acting and works like a charm. also try to do your runs more on grass. it takes more effort but you can't really get injured on soft surfaces.
