O.K. Gang, here's what happened:

I was at a party last night, and was talking a lot with a guy I met on numerous occasions, and have always liked pretty well, and felt very attracted to him by the time I was leaving the party. He lives nearby, and gave me a ride home, and before I got out of the car, I hugged him, thanked him for the ride, and gave him a kiss on the cheek. I was so preoccupied with restraining my self from taking it further, that I got out of the car without getting his information!

So, would it be inappropriate for me to ask the party's host for this man's email?

Ask the host for his phone number so you can call and thank him again for giving you a ride home. Or if you know his name and address, drop a note in the mail to him - thanking him for going out of his way to give you a ride and making sure you got home safely. You can include your phone number.

I'm not a big fan of email. I prefer more personal interaction.

I think it would be much better to ask the host to give the guy your email. If it was mutual feelings, he will contact you. If you don't hear from him, wait until the next time you see him and see how it goes. If it is awesome again, ask for his email. He might get offended if you just barge in on his personal email. Good Luck!!

Yes ask him next time you see him. Maybe he was just being nice giving you the ride home. Until you know for sure just go to the next party and talk to the guy.

no it wouldn't be, but it would be innapropriate if he gives you the e-mail address.
i give my phone number to a few friends, and if any of them gives my phone number away, I get mad at them, besides blocking or not answering the phone to number i do ot know.
