I truly love my boyfriend with everything I have. He's the first boyfriend I've ever had. He's had countless girlfriends. I've never even done anything else with another guy (kiss, hold hands, etc.) We've talked about marriage and getting engaged a lot recently. My main worry is what if he's not the one. I can't possibly know because I have nothing to compare it to. He has lots to compare to. I'm worrying about regret later in life. I do want to marry him. But what if this is just high school puppy love? I'm driving myself crazy with all this doubting because I do want to be with him for the rest of my life.

Forgive me for I'm a confused teenager. A little background: We're both 18 and seniors in high school.

My question is what should I do? Should I date around or stay with him?

Thanks for any input.

We've been dating for 9 months but this is our 3rd go around in the last year and a half. The college I've been wanting to go to for the last four years happens to be the same one he chose recently so I guess we're going to go to the same college.

Hun i know how you feel, me and my boyfriend are 19 (just), he's been with quite a few others but he was my first in everything also. I kinda feel, it would technically be good to experience others, but i feel i really don't want or care about being with anyone else.

How long have you been going out, if you love him that much i would stay with him. Don't take anything to seriously just yet and just go with the flow and see how things go.

You are too young to worry about "the one".

Next year you will go to college. The whole world changes there. Pick a college that you want to go to - that has the programs you want to study - not the one your boyfriend is going to.

Enjoy it while it lasts and if you are still together when ya'll are 25 talk about marriage then. Until then go to college - get a degree and live on your own first. Fully explore the woman that you are and what you want to be come. Make the decisions that are best for you - not "ya'll".
