ok here's the thing...i've been knowing this guy for a looong time and we both liked each other since then.he always looks at me and gets near me all the time. i aslways ask my friend if he's looking at me and he always is!!why doent he come up to me and talk to me??

He is shy and afraid of being rejected. Come on to him to make him comfortable. He probably is attracted to you.

I'm in the situation with a guy, he makes fun of me though, but he keeps looking at me. Your guy might be scared of what other people will think. Or he could be scared you don't like him the same way. He also may not be ready for you to know, he'll let you know when he's ready if this is it. Also he may be waiting for you to make the first move if he thinks you like him. Well these are all things that I could think of.

From personal experience..
I'm pretty sure he's just shy. Maybe he's really impressed & you should make the first move and go and talk to him.
If he gets near you all the time & looks at you and stuff, then I think he does really likes you, so if I were you, i'd just go to him.

He is shy. How long is a loooong time? There probably isn't much you can do other than giving out positive signals, like smiling at him when you catch him looking at you.

he might think that u on't like him and he might be shy and really nervous but give it sometime and he'll come around, u can drop hints that u like him too and maybe he will feel more comfortable knowing that u like him back. :) good luck

Maybe he's afraid to make the move. Either ask him, or let him know that you ARE interested in him.

if you like him why dont you find a means to let him speak to you.or just tell him your emotion.there is no need for waiting for him to speak to you its already there when you both like each other .
