Since your Parents will not do anything about your brother's attacks, they should send you for Karate Lessons as well. Then ask the Karate Instructor, if such attacks are allowed for someone that is taking Karate. You will find that they are not . If necessary have the Karate Instructor talk with you brother. You do need to get stronger, and your brother needs correction, from someone. Karate are Marshal Arts there are rules, and your brother is not observing them . Get in touch with the Instructor

It depends how old you are. If you are young then all you have to do is cry. You can also fight back. If he hits or bites hard enough, show your parents the marks. Shame on your brother!! You can also have a friend over and you can both tell on him if he does or you can maybe take karate! It will help you be stronger and you can defend yourself too. I hope this helps! ( You can threaten him too you now. That always works for me! )

It would help to know your ages but if he's old enough to have taken Karate lessons, he's old enough to know better than what he's doing. First of all, talk to your parents about it. If they don't do something to stop him, tell your parents that you are going to go to Child Protective Services and report what he's doing to you. You deserve to be protected and if your parents won't protect you, you can find help from the authorities.

I have had a similar experience as you. Talk and approach him calmly. Make sure hes focused and in a good mood. Confront him about this problem and tell him how it feels. If that doesn't work, go to a small counceling session, even if its at school. These people understand these kind of problems and can probably help. GOOD LUCK!

thats a brother for ya. talk to you parents about this...or if you dont feel comfortable, write them a letter and put it on their bed. try this:
Dear mom and dad:
i know you dont believe me right now, but i swear on my own life i am! Out of nowhere my brother will just punch me, kick me, claw me, bite me, and slap me.So he is strong and I'm weak. And i tell you but you dont believe me because he lies about it! believe it or not, guys DO lie in their lifetime! Please, i wouldnt lie to you about this, why would I? Just talk to him and help me if you love me. If you dont belive me, let me show you! hide a video camera in the house..anything. Please, if you love me you'll respond.
love,
your daughter.

You don't have to put up with that. Tell your parents again and tell them that you are being serious here and its not a joke. If they still don't take you seriously then you can talk to the appropriate authorities but I would give you parents another chance. Kids fool around a lot and its hard to know whats joking around and what is not.

Immature options:
- Hit him back
- Cry very loudly everytime he touches you so your parents will think he's beating the crap out of you
Mature options:
- Have a talk with him. Make it clear that you are sick of his immature behavior and that he needs to respect you as his big sister. Yelling will get you nowhere, he'll just have an escuse to ruff you around more because little brothers think its fun.
- Take yourself out of any situation in which it occurs. If he hits you, don't respond. Walk away. If you ignore him enough he'll eventually stop because he gets to response.

My brother does the same thing(he's 2 years younger).
But when I hit him back, no matter how softly, he starts fake crying, and no one cares how many bruises I have.
What I did was mention it to this friend of my parents who I am also very close to, and she took care of it.

if you don't have a video cam, use a recorder or dial your parents number while he's doing it and just lay the phone down so they can hear it...even if you are calling their cell phone and voice mail comes on, let it record it...
I am a parent and there is no way I will take sides with my children...I am going to listen to both and keep a watchful eye on the situation at hand...
when I was younger me and my bro use to go at it all the time. after having a fork 'almost' embedded into his scrawny arm, he stopped...oh how I love my brother...heehee

Sit on him. If he hurts you you need to make it stop as soon as possible or he will continue to do it. Get him to the floor, trip him push him anything, but get he down there and sit on him. Don't puch him, or anything that will show a mark but make sure he understands that you re getting fed up and he MUST stop. Don't hurt him, as you said he's stronger, but get your point accross. Take pics of your bruises and where he bit you in case your parents don't beleive you. You must get him to stop this now or he will continue to do it.
