Before you even clicked on the question you were thinking nice guys. But tell me this, how many guys have you dated in the last year and how many of them were just uber nice to you? Any? A few? How many jerks did you date?

I prefer nice guys, but I also tend to fall for jerks. Come to think of it, all 3 of the guys I dated this past year ended up being jerks!

i prefer nice.
but i've been with someone for 2 years now but before him i dated about 5 or 6 other people and i would say that 2 out of the 6 were jerks too start off with and the other 4 were really nice and sweet and then eventually became jerkss.

I prefer nice guys! Although I have dated a few jerks! But most jerk guys have two sides to them! Not always a good thing!

Yes, in my opinion, i've seen countless girls go for the confident ******** than the timid nice guy. Also, while they maintain this facade of placing personality over all thing, this is lie, in fact i would say that around 90% of women (and men to be honest) are very shallow and materealistic no matter what anybody says on here. Obviously i am a bitter person as well as a misanthropist and possibly a nihilist, t doesn't make my judgement any less right.

I don't waste my time with a jerk.
If you can't realize what a wonderful woman I am and treat me with the respect that I deserve ...then I don't need you.
Also - your question is loaded - if a girl has broken up with you - she probably thinks you are a jerk now. Most women go out with a man because they think he is a nice guy but after dating him find out he's a waste of skin. I've never heard one of my girlfriends say "He's such an @ss.. he treats me like cr@p...but I'd really like to go out with him". Usually when a woman accepts a date with you it's because she thought you were a good person who would treat her well. Only later after dating you does she see your true colors.

girls should never date jerks.
I definitely prefer nice guys though there are some jerks who are nicer than you think but they just act like a jerk to hide their true emotions,[I have friends like that]
And also, a lot of women date jerks because they are attractive but no relationship can last on just looks.

i want a guy who is respectful to me, but still confident and not a pushover. it's not like you have to choose either or. there are more than 2 different type of men out there...
i've dated a few jerks, but they pretended to be nice in the begining. when i found out how they really were i got rid of the trash

def nice guys...i have fallen for guys who i thought were nice but ended up being jerks. this year i dated 3 guys; 2 nice, 1 jerk. the one jerk was my best friend but he started acting totally different when we started dating.

Ohhh tough question.
I think they've gotta be jerks that are kinda nice (or so you think) inside.
Likeeee... every guy i was with in the past year have ended up to be total jerks.
But then..
I did 'see' a nice guy. And i ended it becase he was so nice it was irritating & boring!
Mmmhmmm bad guys :) makes it more interesting.
