Keep wearing it!!!!! I know it feels like there's only a tiny difference, but it might be a big change and the retainer just stretched. Your teeth may not look any different, but a lot can happen in your mouth that you can't see. So why would you spend thousands of dollars on orthodontics when you aren't going to keep your teeth in place?! :) Yes, definitely keep wearing it, especially at night (but hopefully during the day too.)
Let me put it this way: if you don't wear it now, you'll end up with snaggle-toothed when you're 40 (just ask my aunt... she spent thousands of $ trying to fix her teeth 'cause she wouldn't wear the retainer!)
Hope this helps. Good luck with your teeth! :)

What is the purpose of you having the retainer? To straighten your teeth? To improve your bite? To relieve possible trauma? If you didn't need a retainer the dentist would not have suggested one for you. So confer with him or your parents and find out the purpose and the benefits. You might also find out the results for not wearing the braces.

You may not realize it when you're not wearing it, but your teeth do slightly shift. If you haven't worn it in a long time and start wearing it again, it will probably fit differently. If you are supposed to wear a retainer in a certain time period, wear it!

your teeth dont shift usually unstil at least 4-5 months without wearing it.. i would strongly suggest wearing the retainer though unless you want braces on again. if you really hate wearing them why dont you ask your orthodontist to put on permanent retainers which go on the back of your teeth and always stay there.

I lost my retainer and years later I had to get my teeth straightened, AGAIN. Wear your retainer! You invested a lot of time and money into your smile, why would you throw it away because of laziness?

i'm in the same situation.. i hate retainers but after wearing braces for 3 yrs. i need to try to start wearing mine again, according to my orthodonist the teeth will start to remember their previous locations after a certain amount of time and they will move back little by little

I lost mine, and it took a couple of years, but me teeth moved and I had to get braces put on the bottoms. At least wear it at night, or whenever you sleep.

You don't even notice any pressure when you put it back in?
You may not notice anything different now, but when you stop wearing it all together, your teeth may start moving back.

You hope that nothing happens... Cause if it does it sucks to be you.... So maybe for you it isn't as big of a deal it is for others, but I still wear mine.
