Is Taurine or Guarana addicting???

Recently I have ONLY craved energy drinks and they're really expensive so I can't become addicted to them.

About a year ago I become "addicted" to Red Bull and drank it for a straight month.

I just really like the taste and every time I buy an energy drink I try a new flavor or brand.

My favorites are Red Bull & Full Throtle.

its not the taurine or guarana thats addictive, but the caffeine! Caffeine is considered a drug because it changes what is happening in the body. When you stop drinking it, you do go through a withdrawal stage.

You can't become addicted to energy drinks because there is nothing in them that serves as a drug or causes drug-like phenomena.
However, there is still the problem that you can get used to it. The difference is that you feel you have to take the stuff, but if you stop you won't get any withdrawal symptoms.
So, in brief, addiction is a physical problem, getting used is more a psychological matter.

Yes.
Both caffeine and excess sugar are habit forming.
The "craving" is the proof, you're hooked.
You would be well advised to taper off ASAP.
