It may be. Girls are expected to be on the ball with their appearance, since guys are expected to be on the ball with their personality and pocketbook.
Anyway, you didn't state your height and weight, so it may not be the weight issue.
Sometimes (arrogant) guys will tell a girl 'no.' Not to worry! I've been rejected by every girl I've ever asked out. I am now 26 and have never been on a date.

well sometimes if your good friends with some one they dont want to ruin the friendship.
and then again he might not know you that well.
sometimes life is very hard and complicated.
i hate to say this but maybe he likes someone else.
he probably has feeling for u too but he is trying for someone else.

it depends on the guy. if he judges more on looks he probably said no because of that. or he might not just like your personality. and even maybe he just doesn't even know you. but, i bet you're not fat and have a nice personality. i wish you put more details though. (:

It might be, might not. It depends on whether your weight matters to the guy, and whether the guy would have gone out w/ you in the first place. Unless you hear him say why, you won't know.
