I think evolution is a likely way to explain the diversity of life on Earth, including humans.
Do not assume all Christians dismiss evolution out of hand.

No we have greater understanding now, You see there are two types of people God's people and the baboon people. See you ape people looked far more like apes than baboon themselves, then the aliens came along and felt sorry because you were so hideous to look at so they started making test tube babies. until your breed started looking half way decent then they started beaming us aboard and got us drunk to where we no longer could see how horrid you looked and wound up having sex with you and so now you ape people look almost Identical to us intelligent beings. Well there you have it.
