1. What's it mean if someone says "if u have cling to ur life u will lose it"?
2. Are you aloud to listen to music u want? Cuz I heard in the Bible it was written something like "You should listen to more spritual music rather then filthy". Not exactly in them words, but something like that. Is it bad if you don't? What'll happen if you do listent o filthyish music? Is it just his thought you do you HAVE to do it? Cuz I'm kinda thinking you do cuz it's in the Bible yet again God didn't say you have to do it. What if the filthy words are blocked out?
3. What's the great salvation? I heard a person in one of my answers say that. here is the question. http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20071229123411AA4ccNf&r=w just click the link and I think his/her name will come up as www.peac...
.
Thank you for answering. Please help.

Or flithy as in stuff that says bad things about God. What about a song that clean, but not really about God? Or cleanish, like not many cuss words or with the cuss words blocked out. Cuz I love music and alot of has cussing in it, but some of it's blocked out or ain't got many or don't got any at all.

If you cling to your life; If you live for your everyday modern things. Is having a nice car going to get you to heaven in the end. Don't cling to things that makes your flesh(body) happy. Cling to those things that makes your heart and soul happy. And I don't think listing to music you like sends you to heaven or hell, but does music you like send bad or good messages to you? Check out Demon Hunter, skillet, Pillar and Family Force 5 those are some good christian bands.

Regarding music....I would say that the kind of music you listen to as a Christian should be determined by how the music affects you. If the so called "filthy" music makes you think about or do things that you know God would not approve of, then you shouldnt listen to it. Our minds are whatever we put into them. Good Christian music comes in all forms, including rap, hard rock, contemporary, gospel style, country western and hymnal type. It has something for everyone but its lyrics are positive and uplifting rather than negative and hurtful as are some of the lyrics in other forms of music. Only you can be the judge. You know what God says.....so you should be able to decide. As to the great salvation you ask about....I am unable to go to that link without losing what I have written here so will opt out on that one. Hope someone else can help you.

Questions 1: If you cling to your life as more valuable than a relationship with God - that is, if you put yourself above God - then you will lose your life in eternity.
Question 2: The Bible doesn't say anything about music. It DOES, however, tell us to keep our hearts pure; and we know that what we listen to affects your thinking, which affects your soul. Php 4:8 says, "Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things."
Question 3: The great salvation is when Jesus rescues us from our sins and their eternal consequences, and adopts us into God's Forever Family so He could take us to heaven when we die.
I pray that this helps.

DEAR, PLEASE LISTEN TO ME.
BEFORE I ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS, YOU TENDS TO BE INCLINED TO DOCTRINES JUST LIKE EVERYBODY BUT ITS NOT MOSTLY WISE. I SAID THAT BECOS WITH ANSWERS TO YOU QUESTIONS NOW DOES NOT YEILD THE EXPECTED RESULT THE LORD EXPECT. I MEAN WE WANT INFORMATION AND KNOWLEDGE BUT NOT OBEDIENCE TO THE BIBLE.
1.CHRIST SAID THAT HE THAT KEEP HIS LIFE SHALL LOSE IT WITH IMPLICATION THAT HE OR SHE THAT FORSAKE THE WORD OF GOD TO PURSUE THE VANITY OF THIS WORLD WILL LOSE HEAVEN, HE WAS COMPARING A GODLY LIFE AND HEAVEN AND WORLDLINESS AND HELL.
2. MUSIC IS A BEAUTIFUL THING. IF YOU A REAL CHILD OF GOD, THE MUSIC OF THE WORLD WHICH GLORIES VIOLENCE, PRIDE AND IMMORALITY IS A NO NO TO THE GODLY LIFE.
3.GREAT SALVATION IS THE REDEMPTIN OF A GENUINE CONVERTED PERSON. THE WORD GREAT IS LIKE AN ADVERB QUALIFYING SALVATION.
GREAT SIN IN MAN, GREAT GOD TO JUDGE WITH GREAT PUNISHMENT OF HELL FIRE BUT GREAT REDEMPTION THROUGH THE DEATH OF JESUS.
SIN IS TERRIBLE AND WILL INCUR THE WRATH OF GOD, ITS THE PRICE JESUS PAID THROUGH HIS OWN DEATH IS CONSIDERED GREAT.

First of all, get a Bible and read it. Get rid of all the fairy tales in your head and then come and ask a question.
